Nestled comfortably alongside the Timeshare Chalets, this single Self Catering Chalet offers every homely comfort set against the backdrop of rolling fynbos plains and intriguing rock formations. Explore the wilderness region on a self-guided hike, traversing the landscape and relishing the summer breeze and, at night, when the jackal howls and the Milky Way lights the sky, enjoy a family meal in a private boma space.

Kagga Kamma was a fantastic experience! The trip to get there was exciting and a feast for the eyes. The choice of activities was perfect from a spa to quad biking. If you need restful sleep, this is the place: dead quiet! The starry skies were amazing and the Stargazing Tour was informative. I look at the stars differently now! The accommodation (Chalets) was perfect... excellent linen and well-stocked kitchen. There is only solar for electricity so no load-shedding and they have their own water so all sorted. Definitely recommend Kagga Kamma... I will be back!

  • Kindly note: there is one Self Catering Chalet on the Nature Reserve. This Chalet is only available to book within three months of the current date. Kindly be in touch with Reservations for availability
  • Kindly note that the Self Catering Chalet can comfortably accommodate eight guests
  • There is no cell phone reception or Wi-Fi at the Chalet. Kindly visit the Restaurant, Bar or Reception to make use of the free Wi-Fi facilities
  • Remember to check the weather forecast and pack accordingly; we suggest that guests always pack some warm clothing for the evenings
  • The initial bath towels, linen and blankets are provided
  • Guests staying in the Self Catering Chalet for seven nights will receive one complimentary linen and bath towel change during their stay. Guests staying in the Self Catering Chalet for less than seven nights can arrange bath towel or linen changes with the housekeeper or Reception at a nominal fee
  • Additional bath towels can be arranged with the housekeeper or Reception at a nominal fee
  • Emergency grocery supplies are available on request and can be purchased and collected at Reception
  • A complimentary basket of wood is placed in the Chalet upon check-in. Wood and ice can be purchased and collected from Reception; unfortunately deliveries are not possible
  • An initial basket of complimentary toilet paper is placed in the Chalet upon check-in. Additional toilet paper can be purchased at the Kiosk in Reception
  • Please feel free to visit the Kagga Kamma Restaurant and Bar. Please note that bookings for the Restaurant need to be made one day in advance.
  • Chalet guests are welcome to experience the Kagga Kamma Spa; kindly visit Reception to make a reservation
